I’ve been saving these thin plastic coasters I got (in a dollar bin, I believe) for a couple of years now and this seemed like the right occasion to try playing with them. I stamped the definition of Love stamp with Stazon first onto the coaster after I trimmed it to 2 1/2 x 3 1/2. Next, I added the picture of the couple and the heart (which I stamped on vellum and embossed with black. It looked good but lacked brightness and spunk – so I added the white backing with the German scrap border. Glued the whole thing together with Diamond Glaze – which was messy since I didn’t plan it out – but it worked well and I really liked the silver popping through occasionally. It gave the whole card dimension it was lacking initially.
Lastly, I colored the heart with Prismacolor markers and a silver paint pen.
